A Crossroads in Podcasting: Seeking Your Wisdom

A Crossroads in Podcasting: Seeking Your Guidance

Hello, everyone! I'm Josh, your host at the "Uncensored Advice for Men" podcast. Today, I'm not just your guide through the world of candid conversations; I'm also here seeking your wisdom. I've been contemplating a significant shift in our journey together, and I want to bring you into the fold as I consider the next steps for our podcast.

The Heart of the Matter: A New Vision

Our podcast has grown beyond my wildest dreams, and it's all thanks to you, the listeners. Your support has been the backbone of our success. But as we stand at this juncture, I'm looking at a new horizon—a vision that's been tugging at my heartstrings.

I'm considering honing in on a more specific audience: Christian men. The idea is to create a strategic media show that dives deep into the lives of men who are not just believers but doers—those who live out their faith and have powerful testimonies of overcoming life's hurdles.

A Call for Your Input: To Rebrand or Launch Anew?

This is where I need your input. Should we rebrand "Uncensored Advice for Men" to cater exclusively to Christian men, or should we start fresh with a new podcast dedicated to this purpose? It's a tough call, and your thoughts are invaluable to me.

Who Are We Aiming to Serve?

The focus would be on Christian men in various walks of life—founders, leaders, investors, and those who live out their faith in high-stakes professions like the police, military, and firefighting. These are men who embrace risk and responsibility, and their stories are both inspiring and instructive.

Your Voice Matters

I'm reaching out to you not just as listeners but as co-creators of this platform. Whether through text, email, or voice messages, I'm all ears. Your insights, ideas, and support are crucial as we ponder this pivot.

Bracing for Impact

Change is never easy, and I'm fully aware that this new direction might not sit well with everyone. Criticism is part of the process, and I'm ready to embrace it if it means staying true to this new calling.

The Core of Our Conversation

The essence of what I'm proposing is a space for challenging, meaningful conversations among Christian men—a platform for sharing stories that uplift and faith that moves mountains.

In Closing: A Community Decision

As we stand at this crossroads together, I'm reminded that "Uncensored Advice for Men" has always been about more than just one voice—it's about all of ours. So, let's make this decision together. Do we evolve, or do we expand? Your guidance will light the way.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and I look forward to your feedback as we navigate these exciting possibilities.

I'm reaching out to you, my trusted listeners, for your input.

What do you think?

Would you support this shift?

Do you have ideas or advice to share?

Your voice matters to me, and I'm all ears—text me, email, or send a voice message. Let's figure this out together.

Support the Show.

Speaker 1 (00:00:02) - Good day, fellas. Josh, here. I need your help. All right, so uncensored advice for men has been running for a few years, and we hit the top 5% global popularity for shows for men. the podcast is growing, the YouTube is growing, the clips have been gaining traction. Speaker 1 (00:01:12) - So I think uncensored advice for men is, is at a place where I need to hand it off or rebrand it, retool it to focus on this community. As my, my, focal point gets more narrow. So as I go through this process of either do I shut it down and start a new one? Do I rebrand and narrow in the focus focused on Christian dudes want to share their testimony. Guys who are, you know, founders, investors, people who run towards risk like I've done my whole life police, military, fire, the, the, the guys who, you know, raised their hand and run towards the mission, like, these are my dudes and I want to create a space for them to have these tough conversations. So the the advice I need from you guys out there is, do I shut it down, hand it off to someone maybe, or do I rebrand, retool to fit this niche even a little bit more focused? Guys who believe in the the kingdom and guys who want to raise their hand and run towards a mission. Right. So that's that's what I want to do with the media strategically.
